The City of Irving's Animal Shelter received high marks from its annual unannounced inspection by the State of Texas.
One professional inspector and two industry witnesses, including a veterinarian and management specialist, graded the Irving Animal Shelter on 45 different criteria including facility integrity, cleanliness, record keeping, animal welfare and management of operations.
The shelter easily passed all 45 criteria and the auditors gave additional positive commentary about the cleanliness of the shelter.
