With 768 votes (55%), Mark Zeske defeats Abdul Khabeer's 632 votes (45%) in tuesday's runoff election for the City Council District 3 seat.
Zeske posted the following message to his facebook page, "The Irving City Secretary congratulated me for being Irving City Councilman-elect for District 3. The results will be certified next week. Thanks for everyone’s support and encouragement. I am ready to get to work."
