The Silver Alert for 69-year old Ronald Smith of Irving has been cancelled. Smith had last been seen on November 24. Smith had been suffering of beginning stages of dementia and high blood pressure.
On Saturday, December 12th, the Andrews County Sheriffs located Smith and his vehicle in a rural area of Andrews County, about 20 miles southwest of Andrews, Texas and about 350 miles west of Irving, Texas. Mr. Smith was found deceased at approximately 7:00 p.m.
Deputies report that there are no signs of foul play and there is no criminal investigation.
