Housing, Food and Other Emergency Assistance for Irving Residents

The City of Irving encourages residents to access community resources for help finding food, shelter and other services during an emergency.

  • Call 211 to be connected with a variety of needs and referrals for service from the Texas Department of State Health Services.

Note: This list may not be comprehensive, and residents should verify services and schedules with the listed providers. Organizations listed are not affiliated with, sponsored or endorsed by the City of Irving. Updates can be emailed to the Communications Department.

FREE MEALS TO STUDENTS

IRVING PARKS AND RECREATION SENIOR MEALS PROGRAM

Senior Irving residents are eligible for low-cost or free meals through the Heritage Senior Center. Membership at the Senior Center is not required, but an application packet must be filled out. For details, visit the Heritage Senior Center’s Meal Program page or call (972) 721-2496.
