On Sunday, February 21, 2021, at approximately 4:00 a.m., the Irving Police Department responded to a major accident involving a pedestrian hit by at least one vehicle southbound the 1500 block N. State Highway Loop 12. Upon arrival, officers located a deceased female in the roadway. On Monday, February 22, 2021, Dallas County Medical Examiner’s Office identified the victim as Amy Hernandez Gomez, 24-years of age, of Seagoville, TX.
