Irving Officers responded to a head-on crash involving two vehicles in the 2300 block of State Highway 161. The suspect vehicle was traveling Northbound in the Southbound lanes. The victim's car had a male driver, two female passengers, and a dog inside. The male driver is Joshua Budai, 21-years of age is in critical condition at Parkland Hospital; the two female passengers, Valentina Nerea, 21-years of age, and Esmeralda Rauda, 19-years of age, were both deceased at the scene as was the dog.
Yasmin Olvera, 23-years of age, operated the suspect vehicle, and no passengers were inside her car. Yasmin's injuries are serious, and she is still currently at the hospital.
This investigation is still ongoing. At this time, it is expected that Yasmin Olvera will be charged with two counts of Intoxication Manslaughter and one count of Intoxication Assault.
