Nominate a Deserving Teen for Irving's Spirited Youth Award


Irving, Texas. March 7, 2021

Nominations are now being accepted for the 2021 Spirited Youth Awards, which recognize youth and teens for excellence in community service, dedicated volunteerism and outstanding character.

First presented by the Irving Youth Council in 2002, the Spirited Youth Awards highlight the positive impact that young people can make in their schools or community. It also builds awareness of the often unnoticed, yet valuable contributions of young people. Award recipients are selected on a quarterly basis and typically are recognized by the Mayor and City Council during a regularly scheduled public meeting. Quarterly recipients are then eligible for the Spirited Youth of the Year award.

To be eligible, nominees must be:

  • Enrolled In Grade 6-12
  • An Irving resident or student in any school located in Irving
  • Nominated by someone other than themselves

If you would like to recognize a spirited youth in your community, submit a nomination today. Forms are accepted throughout the year and can be submitted online, via mail or in person at Lively Pointe Youth Center.
