Irving TX Woman Arrested in the Murder of Her Two Young Daughters

Irving, Texas. April 6, 2021

The Irving Police Department has arrested and charged 30-year-old Madison McDonald in the murder of her two daughters, 1-year-old Lillian Mae McDonald and 6-year-old Archer Hammond.

On Monday, April 5, 2021, at approximately 10:00 p.m., McDonald came to the Irving Police Department at 305. N. O’Connor Rd. and used the phone in our lobby to dial 911. McDonald told our dispatch that she had killed her two daughters. Officers were dispatched to the lobby and her residence located in the 700 block of Cowboys Parkway (The Anthem Apartments). Officers at the home confirmed both daughters were deceased. McDonald was charged with two counts of Capital Murder of a Person under/10 years of age.

UPDATE

Madison McDonald confessed to investigators that she smothered her daughters.  The Medical Examiner's office has not confirmed the cause of death.
