The boldest and bravest of foodies will flock to the Irving Convention Center this weekend to satisfy their cravings for all things flavorful, spicy, hot and extreme at ZestFest. At the festival, visitors can meet spicy food purveyors from all over the country, sample the latest and greatest in “zesty” salsas, spice mixes and rubs, barbecue sauces and more, and vote for their favorites. In addition, they can watch fiery food demos on the Celebrity Chef Stage or enter the Wingstop Atomic Wing Eating Contest or the Puckerbutt Pepper Company Jalapeno Eating Contest.
Who will be there?
- Celebrity chefs: Jon Bonnell, top Texas chef and restaurateur and Bria Downey, the first woman to ever win Fort Worth Magazine’s Top Chef
- Collector and connoisseur Vic Clinco, who is believed to possess the largest collection of hot sauces on the face of the planet
- Greg Bagarozy, show organizer, who has grown Zest Fest from a small niche gathering to a national event loved by consumers, restaurateurs and chefs with adventurous palates as well as retailers looking for next big taste sensation.
