Looking for a fun summer or part-time job? Join the Irving Parks and Recreation for a hiring event on Saturday April 9 at the North Lake Natatorium from 9:30 a.m. to Noon. We are hiring summer and part-time lifeguards. Bring your swimsuit! Participants that pass the lifeguard certification pre-test will be eligible for a job interview on the spot and the lifeguard certification fee will be waved for participants. Lifeguard Pretest:
- 300-yard swim
- 2-minute tread
- Timed Event: Swim 20-yards, dive down 7-10 feet deep, retreive a 10-pound brick and swim back the 20 yards in one minute and 40 seconds.
