Thanks to surveillance videos and the help of the public, Irving Police were able to identify a robbery suspect.
The police department had issued the following information, "Over the past month there have been 3 robberies involving a black male, armed with a handgun, described as being 30-35 years of age, large build, short hair, wearing a white ball cap, white or blue t-shirt, jeans and white tennis shoes and investigators believe the same, lone suspect, is responsible for each of the three robberies listed below. The suspect described walks to the counter to purchase a soft drink and when the clerk opens the register he displays his handgun."
Later, the suspect was also linked to a fourth robbery at the Quick Food Sotre in the 600 block of W. Shady Grove Rd in South Irving.
From the information received, police officers were able to build their case and arrest the robbery suspect. The suspect was identified as 42 year old, Eddy Spearman. He was located and arrested in Dallas.
