Annual Irving Trash Bash Seeks Volunteers

Keep Irving Beautiful (KIB) invites the community to attend the 31st Annual Trash Bash from 9 a.m. to noon, Saturday, Sept. 24. This year’s cleanup will be held at T.W. Richardson Grove Park, 333 E. Hwy 635 (LBJ)Download the flier (PDF).

All ages are welcome to participate; volunteers 17 and younger must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. KIB will provide supplies such as litter pickers, trash and recycle bags and gloves, as well as lunch after the event. Register by Sept. 16.

Volunteers who bring canned food items to donate will receive a T-shire, while supplies last.

The 2022 Trash Bash will be held on National Public Lands Day as in years past, and will be one of many events occurring across the country that day. The nation’s largest single-day volunteer event for public lands raises awareness on environmental issues like litter, and encourages everyone to lend a hand to make a difference in their community.

For more information call the Keep Irving Beautiful office at (972) 721-2175.
