Victim Stabbed in Attempted Carjacking in Watauga Texas

On Sunday, September 11, at approximately 5:20 pm, Watauga Police Officers were dispatched to a 911 hang-up in the 6900 block of McCoy Drive.  While en-route, responding officers received information that a male was stabbed in an attempted carjacking.  Officers quickly arrived on-scene and located the suspect, who was running from the scene and was taken into custody after a brief foot pursuit without further incident.

The victim received medical care on scene and was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.  The suspect is believed to have acted alone, and this is an isolated incident.  The suspect was booked in and charged with aggravated robbery, evading arrest, and resisting arrest.
