The Haltom City Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred September 17 in the 1900 block of Bernice Street.
At 1:55am, Haltom City police were dispatched to the given location after shots were fired during an argument. When emergency personnel arrived, they located two people shot in front of the complex. Both were pronounced deceased at the scene by MedStar paramedics.
Detectives worked through the night to identify two suspects who fled the scene prior to police arrival. Both of them were identified and arrested this morning. Their charges are pending appearance before the judge.
The investigation is ongoing at this time.
