The Carrollton Police Department and Fire Department are investigating the deaths of three individuals found dead in a burning Carrollton home.
On October 1st, at 3:53 pm, Carrollton firefighters were dispatched to a house fire in the 3900 block of Alto Avenue. Smoke was observed coming from the house upon FD arrival.
During the search of the residence, firefighters located three bodies inside. A 51-year-old woman and 77-year-old man both had obvious signs of trauma. Investigators believe they were killed before the fire. A 53-year-old man was also found deceased from a gunshot wound.
All three victims were family members. Officials believe this was an isolated family incident and there is no additional threat to the general public.
