Emergency responders from the Cleburne Fire Department and Police Department responded to a two-vehicle crash at 1:17 pm on Oct. 5 near the intersection of FM 4 and FM 3136.
Officials say the driver of an SUV was traveling eastbound on FM 4 when she attempted to turn left into a private driveway. She made the turn in front of a dump truck which struck the vehicle’s passenger side.
Impact from the collision caused the vehicle to hit a power pole and knock out power in the immediate area.
Paramedics pronounced the driver of the SUV deceased at the scene. She has been identified by police as a 27-year-old woman from Keene.
The driver of the dump truck did not sustain serious injuries.
