Three students have been identified and arrested in connection with the weapon. Garland ISD has a zero-tolerance weapon policy, and the students are not allowed to return to campus.
"Your safety is our top priority. We appreciate our students taking part in our see something, say something protocol and for bringing this to our attention." said a release from the Garland ISD.
Fox 4 reported that a student pulled out a gun during a fight on the second floor of the campus, but no shots were fired.
