The Fort Worth Police Department is investigating the circumstances surrounding a suspicous death of a man near the 7100 block of W. Vickery Blvd.
At 7:21 am Thursday morning (Jan. 5), Fort Worth police were initially dispatched to an auto pedestrian crash at the given location.
When police officers arrived, they were able to locatea victim approximately 30 feet off the roadway. Accident investigators observed trauma on the victim's body not consistent with the crash scene and homicide detectives were notified to investigate further.
The Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office has taken possession of the body and will determine cause of death.
