At 2:26 am Saturday morning, emergency responders from Fort Worth FD and PD along with Medstar EMS responded to the westbound lanes of Interstate 30 near Alta Mere for a major accident.
Authorities say a motorcyclist was traveling westbound on the interstate when we struck a sedan stopped along the highway. It is unclear if the sedan was parked on the highway or on the shoulder.
Upon impact of this collision, the motorcyclist was ejected from the bike.
A woman standing outside of the sedan was struck when the motorcycle collided with the vehicle.
Both victims were pronounced deceased at the scene.
Lanes of I30 were closed for approximately five hours while FWPD investigated the crash.
