The Texas Department of Public Safety is investigating a serious crash that occurred Friday evening near Godley.
At around 5:30 pm, Godley firefighters, Johnson County paramedics and law enforcement officers were dispatched to a two-vehicle crash at FM 2331 and FM 4.
Investigators say a driver attempted to turn left onto FM 4 from southbound FM 2331, but failed to yield to the right of way of a second vehicle as it traveled along FM 4. A collision occurred causing serious injury to the driver attempting to turn onto FM 4.
CareFlite airlifted the driver to a Fort Worth hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Lanes of the roadway were closed while THP investigated the scene.
