Three suspects sought in capital murder of pawn shop owner in Lewisville

Lewisville Police Department is looking for three suspects wanted for the murder of a pawn shop owner this morning.

At approximately 9:30 a.m., three black males, all dressed in black hoodies and blue jeans, jumped out of a red, late model Ford Escape SUV, rushed into the Lewisville Pawn Shop at 962 S. Mill Street, and confronted the owner. One suspect shot the store owner in the chest. All three suspects then left the scene in the red SUV, headed south on Mill Street toward I-35E.

The store owner was taken to Medical City Lewisville hospital where he died a short time later. His name is not being released at this time.

Detectives are working on developing a better description of the suspects and the getaway vehicle as both are vague at this point.

All three suspects are wanted for Capital Murder because this shooting happened during the commission of an armed robbery.
