Arrests Made on Home Invasion Cases

On Saturday, 4/17/10 at approximately 9:00PM, Irving Patrol officers located and stopped a vehicle in north Irving just after a home burglary had occurred in the Windsor Heights neighborhood. Inside the vehicle were three armed men along with property from the burglary that had just taken place. All three were arrested and subsequent investigation has connected the men to dozens of burglaries across the metroplex, including a burglary and a home invasion robbery in Irving’s Hackberry Creek and Fox Glen neighborhoods. All three men were taken to the Irving City Jail where they remained until 4/23/10 at which time they were transferred to the Dallas County Jail.

Due to similarities in the types of homes and locations of offenses throughout the metroplex area law enforcement investigators have been communicating and sharing information while developing leads that eventually led to the identification and capture of these individuals. The homes targeted by this group are best categorized as multi-million dollar residences most of which were connected to country club golf courses. The majority of the homes were broken into while the residents were away, however on numerous occasions the residents were present when the homes were entered by force and those residents were subsequently tied/bound during the robbery.

Irving Police have recovered approximately $40,000.00 in property from various offenses and from locations as far away as Tyler. Other agencies are working property recovery as well and to date a final estimate of recovered items has not been ascertained. The investigation is on-going at this time due to the many agencies involved and the numerous counties involved inclusive of Dallas, Collin, Tarrant, Smith and possibly others.

The three Individuals arrested were; William Autrey (41) of Arlington, Young, Brandon (31) of Athens, Miller, Ramon (36) of Arlington.
