In a shocking incident last night, an unidentified vehicle struck a pedestrian in the 9200 block of Lake June Road, resulting in the victim's untimely death. The incident occurred around 10:00 pm when the vehicle, suspected to be a pick-up truck, was traveling westbound. The driver, displaying a callous disregard for human life, fled the scene.
The victim, whose identity is being withheld pending notification of next of kin, tragically succumbed to their injuries at the scene.
Authorities believe that the suspect vehicle, possibly a pick-up truck, should have sustained noticeable front-end damage as a result of the collision. They are appealing to the public for any information that could assist in identifying the hit-and-run driver or the vehicle involved.
