The Dallas Police Department is urging the public to come forward with any information that could lead to the identification of two suspects involved in an appalling case of animal cruelty. Authorities released images of the individuals in question, hoping that someone may recognize them and assist in their capture.
According to preliminary investigations, the distressing incident occurred on the evening of May 23, 2023, around 7:50 p.m., in the 2400 block of Dowdy Ferry Road. The released surveillance footage reveals the suspects removing a defenseless dog, confined in a black wire crate, from a Blue Kia Rio hatchback. Shockingly, after taking the animal, the perpetrators heartlessly deserted it at the scene before driving away.
The Dallas Police Department's Animal Cruelty Unit is working diligently to bring these individuals to justice and ensure the safety of innocent animals in the community. Animal cruelty is a serious offense, and the department is committed to holding those responsible accountable for their actions.
