On July 8, 2023, at approximately 11:00 p.m., Dallas Police responded to a shooting call at 1613 Pompano Beach Drive. The incident took place at a residence that was being used as an Airbnb home.
Preliminary investigations revealed that the shooting occurred during a party being held at the Airbnb property. Among those present, an 18-year-old male and three 16-year-old victims sustained gunshot wounds.
Tragically, one of the 16-year-old victims succumbed to their injuries at the scene. The remaining victims were expeditiously transported to a local hospital for immediate medical attention. The extent of their injuries is currently unknown.
