The Irving community will join Mayor Herbert A. Gears and officials from the National Football League (NFL) for the Super BowlTree Planting Event at 10 a.m. Nov. 20 at Bird’s Fort Trail Park, 5756 Riverside Drive. At the celebration, NFL representatives will join local volunteers and city staff members in the planting of 100 trees. The event will feature games for all ages including a “Fun Zone” where fans can test their football skills and abilities.
