The Fort Worth Police Department is investigating a fatal accident that occurred early Sunday morning along southbound I35W near Felix Street.
Around 12:29 am, a minor chain reaction crash happened on southbound I35W near Felix Street. Police reported that one of the occupants involved in the crash exited their vehicle and was struck by a passing vehicle.
The pedestrian was taken to a Fort Worth hospital but was later pronounced dead.
The southbound lanes of I35W were closed for approximately two hours while the Fort Worth Police Department conducted their investigation at the scene.
