The City of Irving has selected Dallas-based Smith, Jackson, Boyer & Bovard PLLC to review expenditures associated with the proposed Entertainment Venue. The review is expected to begin this week, and all parties involved in the project have agreed to fully cooperate and commit the necessary resources to complete the review in an expedient manner.
Last week, City Manager Tommy Gonzalez appointed Intergovernmental Services Director Ramiro Lopez to lead an internal team that will work with the firm. At the conclusion of the firm’s analysis, a report will be presented to the Irving City Council.
“The city will carefully monitor future expenditures to make sure they are appropriate and fully documented,” said Lopez. “It is the city’s goal to keep the public fully informed.”
Smith, Jackson, Boyer & Bovard PLLC is a certified public accounting firm with years of experience serving a variety of industries including health care, construction, industrial supply, real estate development and management, oil and gas, manufacturing, and high technology.
