The
Irving Public Library will sponsor All Wrapped Up, a holiday gift
wrapping service provided by the Young Adult Action Council and student
volunteers. Take some of the hassle out of holiday preparations by
bringing gifts to the Central Library, 801 W. Irving Blvd., between noon and 5 p.m. Dec. 18.
“This
is a great way to reduce some of the stress of the holiday season for
you and your family,” said Allison Jenkins, teen librarian. “Also, the
library’s student volunteers learn the value of community service
through this beneficial project.”
All
Wrapped Up will offer a unique selection of wrapping paper styles. Gift
wrapping for oversized items is not available and there is a limit of
five items per person while supplies last. Boxes will not be provided,
just gift wrap and a tag. Enjoy hot chocolate and cookies during the
wait.
