City of Irving Fire and Police celebrate 30 years of helping less-fortunate families

The North Texas community is invited to donate goods to the Blue Christmas toy drive. Through Dec. 22, police and fire personnel are collecting donations of new, unwrapped toys for children ages 1–16 (gifts for teens are most needed), as well as canned and box food items. Now in its 30th year, the program will help numerous families in need this holiday season. Irving officers and firefighters will make deliveries of donated goods to Irving families through Christmas Day.

Donations can be dropped off at the Criminal Justice Center, 305 N. O’Connor Road; Police North Substation, 5992 Riverside Drive; Fire Administration Building, 845 W. Irving Blvd., or at any Irving fire station listed below.
