Police Respond to Armed Individual in Haltom City, Peacefully Resolved

In the early hours of Wednesday, September 27, at approximately 12:50 A.M., Haltom City police officers responded to a potentially dangerous situation in the 4500 block of Walthall Street in South Haltom City. The incident involved a person reportedly armed with a weapon.

Initial reports indicated that a male individual was spotted in the front yard of a residence, allegedly making threats while in possession of a weapon. In response to this alarming situation, law enforcement officers established a perimeter around the area and initiated contact with the suspect.

After some time, the individual responded to the officers' communication efforts and voluntarily surrendered himself without any further incident. The incident was resolved peacefully, thanks to the coordinated efforts of various law enforcement units.

The resolution of the situation involved the participation of Haltom City's Administration, Criminal Investigations Division (CID), and the Special Weapons and Tactics (S.W.A.T.) team. Additionally, Richland Hills Police Department provided valuable assistance during this incident.

As of now, at least one arrest has been made in connection with the incident. The CID is currently processing evidence and evaluating potential charges related to the case.

There were no reports of injury.
