In an incident on September 30, 2023, at approximately 11:00 a.m., Dallas Police responded to reports of a shooting in the 900 block of Medalist Drive in Oak Cliff's Wolf Creek area. Upon arrival, officers discovered a woman who had been shot and managed to walk from the scene to seek help.
The preliminary investigation revealed that the officers followed the woman's trail back to the shooting scene, where they found a man tied up and calling for assistance. Alongside him was another victim, identified as Deleon Williams, aged 30, who had also been bound and shot. Williams succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The female victim was taken to a local hospital and is expected to live. The second male victim was not injured.
As of now, no suspect has been taken into custody. Authorities urge anyone with information related to the incident to come forward and assist in the ongoing investigation.
