In the early hours of October 9, 2023, at approximately 2:10 AM, Dallas Police swiftly responded to a stabbing incident reported at 13000 Esperanza in Far North Dallas. Upon arrival, officers discovered two men who had sustained stab wounds.
22-year-old Eduardo Peralta succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The second victim, whose identity has not been disclosed, was rushed to a local hospital in critical condition.
Through preliminary investigations, authorities identified the alleged perpetrator as 19-year-old Ivan Salazar. Officers later found Salazar at another location within the 13000 block of Esperanza, also suffering from stab wounds. He was transported to a nearby hospital in critical condition.
Law enforcement officials have confirmed that Ivan Salazar will face charges of Murder.
