In the early hours of October 14, 2023, at approximately 3:10 AM, law enforcement officers responded to a shooting incident in the 4500 block of Village Fair Dr in the File Mile Creek Area. According to preliminary investigations, an unknown suspect opened fire, injuring two individuals.
The victims, identified as 38-year-old Quentin Gellington and an unidentified woman, were swiftly transported to a local hospital for medical treatment. Despite the best efforts of medical staff, Quentin Gellington succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at the hospital. The woman is currently in stable condition and receiving medical care.
This is an ongoing investigation that will be documented under case numbers 184254-2023 and 184260-2023.
