Suspects in Irving teen's abduction now face sexual assault charges

The two Irving men held in the disappearance of a 13-year-old girl were charged Wednesday with aggravated sexual assualt of a child, Irving police said.

Todge Thurman is charged with two counts of Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child and is being held on $200,000 bond.   Humberto Corona is charged with one count of Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child and is being held on $100,000 bond.  The Unlawful Restraint charges have been dropped. 
 
The charges were filed after police interviewed the 13-year-old girl, who had been missing a week after being seen leaving a middle school basketball game with the two men. She returned home Tuesday.
 
According to arrest warrant affidavits, the assaults occurred in a parked car in the 2900 block of West Shady Grove Road on Dec. 13.
 
Police spokesman Officer John Argumaniz said the investigation is continuing.
