Dallas Police are seeking the public's assistance in identifying the driver and vehicle involved in a hit and run crash that occurred on October 18, 2023, at approximately 4:30 p.m.
The incident took place in the 3800 block of Hammerly Drive, near Bernal Drive in West Dallas. According to the preliminary investigation, an SUV struck a 10-year-old male who was riding a moped at the time. After the collision, the suspect vehicle left the scene, heading southbound on Hammerly Drive.
The young victim was taken to a local hospital with serious injuries.
