On November 1, 2023, at approximately 2:30 p.m., Dallas Police were called to the scene of a shooting in the 3000 block of South Boulevard at Meyers Street in South Dallas.
Upon arrival, officers discovered two victims, a 16-year-old male and a 24-year-old male, suffering from gunshot wounds. Both individuals were promptly transported to a local hospital for medical treatment. The 16-year-old teenager succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead, while the 24-year-old male remains in stable condition.
The investigation into the incident is ongoing, and it has been referred to the Dallas County Grand Jury for further examination.
