In the early hours of November 14, 2023, at approximately 4:00 am, Dallas Police responded to a distress call in the 5300 block of Parry Avenue.
Upon arrival, officers discovered 24-year-old Marco Ramirez, who had sustained gunshot wounds. Ramirez was immediately transported to a local hospital, where he tragically succumbed to his injuries.
Preliminary findings from the investigation revealed that Ramirez's vehicle had been stolen from his residence. In an attempt to recover his vehicle, Ramirez followed the suspect(s) to the 5300 block of Parry Avenue, where the fatal shooting occurred. The stolen vehicle was later located in the 5200 block of Parry Avenue, while the suspect(s) had already fled the scene.

UPDATE: On November 17, 2023, Dallas Police arrested Alejandro Deleon, 30, and charged him with Murder. He was taken to the Dallas County Jail.
