Police Seek Public Assistance to Identify Suspect in Northeast Dallas Murder

The Dallas Police Department (DPD) is reaching out to the public for assistance in an ongoing homicide investigation related to an incident that occurred on November 7, 2023, in the 11400 block of Garland Road around 12 PM.

Responding to a disturbance call in the area, DPD discovered 42-year-old Jose Vasquez, who was subsequently transported to a local hospital due to injuries sustained during the incident. Tragically, Vasquez succumbed to his injuries after admission.

Detectives leading the investigation are urging anyone with information about the case to come forward. Of particular interest is the identification of a man observed leaving the scene of the crime.
