On December 4, 2023, at around 1:15 am, Dallas Police swiftly responded to a shooting incident reported in the 1300 block of Hartsdale Drive.
Upon their arrival, officers discovered two men with gunshot wounds outside a residence.
The preliminary investigation revealed that both victims were transported to the hospital by Dallas Fire-Rescue (DFR). 25-year-old Louis Martinez succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead, while the second victim, a 48-year-old man, is currently listed in stable condition.
Following an extensive inquiry, authorities identified a suspect in the case, 21-year-old Juan Martinez. He has been charged with Murder and Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon.
