The Dallas Police Department is reaching out to the public for assistance in locating a vehicle and identifying suspects involved in an incident that left a Dallas Police officer injured.
On December 12, 2023, at approximately 8:40 a.m., Dallas Police responded to an incident in the 4200 block of N. Jim Miller Road. According to preliminary findings, the driver of a Black Dodge Challenger accelerated away from a routine traffic stop, colliding with a motorcycle officer in the process.
The injured officer was transported to a local hospital for minor injuries and has since been treated and released.
The suspect's vehicle, a Black Dodge Challenger, fled the scene in a northbound direction on N. Jim Miller Road. Authorities describe the vehicle as having faded, matte paint on the hood, blacked out taillights, a baseball cap on the front dashboard, and custom, loud tailpipes. The license plate on the vehicle was found to be unregistered.
