On Thursday, December 14, 2023, at around 3:56 p.m., the Arlington Police Department responded to an auto-pedestrian collision at the intersection of Sublett Road and Park Springs Boulevard. The incident involved a juvenile female.
The child, identified as 10-year-old LiyahGrace Symone Holsey, was transported to a local hospital in critical condition. Unfortunately, late Thursday night, medical staff confirmed her passing due to injuries sustained in the collision.
Preliminary investigations suggest that the girl was attempting to cross from the north side of Sublett Road to the south side when she was struck by two vehicles traveling in the eastbound lanes. Both drivers stopped, remained at the scene, and have cooperated with the ongoing investigation. As of now, no criminal charges have been filed in connection with the incident, according to the Arlington Police Department.
The Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office has positively identified the victim as LiyahGrace Symone Holsey.
