A collision involving a single vehicle and an electricity pole with a transformer has resulted in the closure of the northbound lanes of Kelly Blvd, just north of Trinity Mills Rd. Due to the hazardous nature of the incident, Carrollton Officers have taken the precautionary measure of shutting down traffic in the affected area.
Oncor, the electric utility company, has estimated that repairs will take approximately five hours to complete before the road can be safely reopened. The Carrollton Police Department is urging motorists to seek alternate routes during this temporary road closure.
