The Lewisville Police Department has apprehended three suspects in connection with the armed robbery that took place at the QuikTrip gas station on FM 407 on Tuesday, December 26, 2023.
The suspects have been identified as 18-year-old Leonardo Rodriguez, 17-year-old Edwin Morales Neri, and 17-year-old David Reyes-Estrada.
All three individuals are facing charges of Aggravated Robbery and Tampering/Fabricating Physical Evidence.
On the morning of December 26th, officers responded to a call regarding an armed robbery at the QT gas station located at 1231 FM 407 around 6:25 a.m. The victim reported that the suspects used a firearm during the incident. Following the report, officers were provided with a description of the suspects' vehicle, a distinctive black pickup truck.
Utilizing advanced technology systems, investigators successfully located the pickup truck a few days later at an apartment complex in the 200 block of West Corporate Drive. A subsequent traffic stop was conducted, resulting in the arrest of one suspect without incident.
Further investigation led officers to the residence of a second suspect in the 800 block of Yale Drive, where they executed an arrest/search warrant and took the individual into custody. Additional leads indicated the presence of the third suspect at a residence in the 100 block of Pinewood Place. On December 29th, before serving an arrest/search warrant at that location, a traffic stop was conducted, resulting in the arrest of the third suspect without incident.
