On December 25, 2023, McKinney Police responded to a welfare check at an apartment in the 5200 block of Collin McKinney Pkwy after a concerned relative reported difficulty reaching Nawreen Tuli and cited a history of domestic violence at the location. Officers spoke with 33-year-old Nasib Ahsan, who claimed Nawreen was asleep inside.
During a protective sweep of the residence, officers discovered Nawreen lying deceased on the bed. An autopsy confirmed her pregnancy. Nasib Ahsan has since been charged with Capital Murder and is currently held at Collin County Jail, with a set bond of $1,000,000.
