On Saturday, January 13, at 2:06 am, emergency responders from Dallas Fire Rescue and DPS Troopers rushed to the scene of a major accident on the northbound lanes of the Dallas North Tollway near Forest Lane.
Preliminary findings from the ongoing investigation suggest that the incident involved two initial vehicles in a collision on the tollway. Following the collision, both drivers exited their vehicles to exchange information. It was during this exchange that a third vehicle crashed into them.
The two drivers involved in the initial collision have been identified as a 24-year-old woman from Dallas and a 28-year-old man from Addison. The driver of the third vehicle, responsible for the subsequent crash, has been identified as an 18-year-old from Lewisville.
