On January 19, 2024, at approximately 6:30 PM, Garland Officers responded to a Disturbance with a Weapon call at an apartment in the 3500 block of Easton Meadows Drive.
Upon arrival, officers discovered two individuals inside the apartment who had sustained gunshot wounds. Emergency services were called, and both victims were transported to nearby hospitals via ambulance. One of the victims succumbed to the injuries and was pronounced deceased, while the other victim remains hospitalized.
Preliminary findings from the initial investigation suggest that the suspect(s) were known to the victim.
The investigation is ongoing.
