On January 24, 2024, at approximately 9:00 PM, Dallas police were called to respond to a shooting incident in the 8500 block of Old Hickory Trail, situated south of I-20. The preliminary investigation revealed that an argument took place between 18-year-old Larry Blair and an unidentified suspect, resulting in the suspect shooting Blair.
Dallas Fire-Rescue (DFR) responded to the scene, but Blair succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at the location.
The incident is currently under investigation, and it will be documented under case number 013023-2024.
