In the early hours of the morning at 12:40 am, emergency services, including the Fort Worth Fire Department, Police Department, and MedStar EMS, responded to a major accident on Highway 114 near Texas Motor Speedway.
Upon arrival, officers discovered a head-on collision involving two vehicles. One of the vehicles was traveling in the wrong direction, resulting in the collision.
The driver of the wrong-way vehicle, identified as 25-year-old William Charles Fader of Justin, Texas, was pronounced dead at the scene. The other driver did not sustain serious injuries.
The investigation is ongoing.
