In the early hours of this morning, Fort Worth police responded to a 9-1-1 call reporting a wrong-way driver on Interstate 30 near Hulen Street at 2:32 am. Shortly after the call, a crash occurred on the interstate near the Alta Mere exit.
Upon arrival at the crash scene, officers discovered the driver of the vehicle had succumbed to the incident.
Traffic investigators have been actively working at the site throughout the morning. As a result, all eastbound lanes on Interstate 30 are currently closed and are anticipated to remain so until approximately lunchtime. Commuters are advised to steer clear of the affected area.
